What is Úbeda

ÚBEDA Group is a family business founded in 2006, which combines to perfection the art and eating.
It consists of the tandem, Esther Hospital (an economist by profession, with a vocation for cooking) and JavierUbeda (artist from head to toe).
The premises are designed as great works of art, where the experience of tasting is a delight for the senses, and making each restaurant being unique and charismatic.
Our motto is ”fashion goes out of fashion“. This is why, Javier Ubeda, responsible for the interior decoration, designed each of the premises in order to make customers feel at home.
Úbeda Group, presents an innovative concept to the market, both for the decoration of the premises, and the presentation of its dishes.
Úbeda restaurants are the perfect places for the best coffee breakfasts with Filosofia Q ( Novell) coffee or where to have lunche noon with tapas and wine or later in the evening a typical “Spanish picoteo” with different traditional tapas.
Our aim is to retake the traditional recipes that we love to taste in small towns lost in the Spanish inland, and to present them in our “sartenes”(frying pans)
Our recommended frying pans are: Iberian black pudding with fried egg, homemade meatballs, duck confit with orange marmalade, Úbeda-style chicken , Iberian pork cheeks, Huelva deer in red wine, among others. And for an international touch you can try our marinated salmon cubes, octopus with mashed potato and onion, garlic prawns … and the list of recipes goes on depending on the inspiration of the day.
And of course you can’t miss our flagship dishes: LAKET Artesanos chistorra (pork red sausage) of Arbizu, Navarra, awarded for 8 consecutive years, assortment of cold cuts, farmhouse cheeses made with unpasteurized whole milk and always our delicious Iberian ham from Sanchez Romero Carvajal acorn-fed porks or an extensive range of selected tinned food by La Brújula that can be served with a refreshing glass of Moritz beer.
All this accompanied by 4 hours fermentation “bread flavored bread”, from Paul bakery.
From our wine cellar we point out some delicious wines such as both white and red Viña Tondonia, Paco & Lola, Michael, Cristiari, Les Terrasses, Vendimia de Alvaro Palacios, Viña Ardanza, Campillo Reserva … among others.
Finally, for a “wonderful” digestion we recommended not to leave without having one of our great gin and tonics made with ”love”, “passion” or ”temptation.” We only use top quality raw materials as Fever-Tree tonic and a selection of gin such as: Citadelle , G-vine , Bulldog , The London 1 among others, or our brand new special own-made Úbeda Premium gin.

Úbeda Group has grown to currently become one of the most successful bars in Barcelona, thanks to the overwhelming response from its clientele, to the faithful followers and the great team behind each one of our projects. This allowed us to build a solid business plan and to offer an innovative and unique formula that makes us feel alive and with the illusion of presenting new ideas every day.
